The city required us to install a larger gravel “swale”. Usually a swale goes somewhere, this is more like a sump. The water just goes down! Since all the other neighbors finished their houses a while ago, the city could not require them to do the same.
Since the guys putting in the filter fabric and gravel were in a rush, something else got pushed back. As usual it’s the landscaping!
Gravel work took a few weeks to complete, my irrigation work was buried under tons of gravel and filter fabric. I tried to mark all of the irrigation heads to dig them up but I need labor. A storm wiped out most of my marks. I do have photos of most of it. I tried but could not do all that digging by myself. Now I need to redo some work to find my irrigation lines and heads.
That is the last thing we need to do before we call for a city inspection and our Certificate of Occupancy.
